Gluttons for Punishment Redux

Again, because we aren't crazy enough, Bruce and I have planned another outing with the boys (and my mother) to wonderful Las Vegas!! There will be some house hunting involved for sure. I'm really excited and nervous all at the same time. I have faith that things will smooth out relatively quickly as we already have cribs and highchairs set aside for the boys, and my parents' timeshare (right on the Strip) is equipt with a full kitchen. We'll be able to eat in most times to save $.

So, here is my plea: I am looking for any and all tips from you kind people for travelling with toddlers on long trips. We'll try almost anything (we're not ruling out a trip to the bar (just kidding-well, maybe for us)).

As a side note, the boys have all essentially disqualified themselves from EI services! Our DI therapist, though, is going to recommend services continue for Will who just isn't as talkative as his brothers. The real big news on that front is that they all score at 28 months for social/emotional skills!! Yay Boys!!

I'm Back!

Hello Faithful Readers!
Sorry I’ve not been posting lately. The boys have been sick, and I’ve been tired and all around fed up with everything. I’m feeling a little more normal now, and the boys are healthy (yay!).
Today, Evan and William had wonderful sessions with Cindy! They said lots of new words. Evan came out with “shampoo”! We even had some singing along. Cindy is “worried” about testing them on Thursday. She’s thinking they may not qualify for EI anymore.
Bobby has already been evaluated by his PT, Dana, and he no longer qualifies for her services. We’ll miss Dana!
In other news, we’re starting to get ready for the BIG move to Nevada. We’re pre-qualified for a mortgage, we’ve had market evaluations on our house, and we’re working with a realtor out there. Dad actually spoke with another realtor today who may be even better to deal with. It’s very exciting.
We’ll of course miss our friends, but they can always visit (HINT). I think the move will be good for all of us. Bobby will be able to get a head start on his cowboy career. Bruce and I will hopefully get rid of the sinus problems we’ve been having over the last few years. A different life pace can’t hurt any either. So, there it is minus the one issue that I cannot discuss.
